Ranked among the Top 100 DJs worldwide, WUKONG infuses traditional Chinese elements into his sound, transforming the ballad with a charged beat.

“Jumping Machine” uses the drop tower ride—also known as the “jumping machine”—as a powerful metaphor to capture the emotional highs and sudden lows of a relationship you can’t let go of. With tender vocals and poignant lyrics, LBI expresses the aching sadness of wishing someone would lie and say they still love you, even when you know deep down, they no longer do.

Since its release, “Jumping Machine” has topped charts in Southeast Asia, including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, reaching #11 on Spotify’s Global Viral Chart. Its catchy hooks have crossed language barriers, with global audiences sharing their versions on social media. This broad appeal makes it one of the most promising Chinese music exports of 2025. On June 5th, Sony Music launched the “Jumping Machine Goes Global” initiative, allowing fans to get involved by nominating artists to cover the track and submitting their own creative versions. Whether it’s new lyrics, remixes, or unique styles, Sony Music welcomes all ideas. Some standout submissions may even be chosen for an official release. This project aims to foster a lasting connection between the music label, artists, and fans worldwide. Click HERE for more information on how to participate.
