Trainocate Malaysia launches TrAInocate Career Jumpstart 30

Trainocate Malaysia celebrated its 30th anniversary by launching TrAInocate Career Jumpstart 30, an initiative to equip underserved young Malaysians with practical AI skills to enhance their employability.

The program trained 116 young people in need over three groups in June. It included participants from welfare homes, community organizations, and community colleges. The program ended with a graduation ceremony that His Highness Tengku Amir Shah Ibni Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah AlHaj, Raja Muda of Selangor attended. This initiative was run by the Selangor Youth Community (SAY) with help from MyDIGITAL Corporation.

The goal of TrAInocate Career Jumpstart 30 was to help close the gap between understanding digital tools and being ready for jobs. Participants received an “AI Career Toolkit” that included useful skills that employers look for in today’s digital job market.

Building Employability Through AI

The programme focused on four key competencies:

  • Generative Content Mastery – Participants learned to leverage AI tools to create tailored resumes, cover letters, and professional communications, enabling them to stand out in an increasingly competitive and automated recruitment environment.
  • Strategic Research Capabilities – Through platforms such as Google Gemini, participants developed skills in conducting in-depth research, analysing industry trends, and generating actionable insights to support informed decision-making.
  • Visual Communication with Canva AI – Recognising the growing importance of visual storytelling, the programme introduced participants to AI-assisted design tools that enable professional content creation for personal branding, entrepreneurship, and workplace communication.
  • Workflow Chaining – Participants were trained to integrate multiple AI tools into seamless workflows, preparing them for the interconnected digital processes commonly used across modern organisations.

Collaboration Driving Meaningful Impact

The initiative shows how important collaboration is in providing digital skills and job opportunities for underserved communities.

“At SAY, our mission is to ensure that every young Malaysian, regardless of background, has the opportunity to thrive in today’s economy,” said Aiman Syafiq Nazri, Chief Executive Officer of Selangor Youth Community (SAY).

“TrAInocate Career Jumpstart 30 goes beyond teaching technology. It equips young people with practical skills, confidence, and exposure to opportunities that can help them pursue careers in the digital and technology sectors.”

Ruby Kaur, Managing Director of Trainocate Malaysia, said the initiative was a fitting way to commemorate the company’s three-decade journey in developing Malaysia’s digital talent.

“As we celebrate 30 years of empowering professionals and organisations through learning, we wanted to create a lasting impact that extends beyond the classroom,” she said.

“AI literacy is rapidly becoming an essential employability skill. By partnering with organisations such as MyDIGITAL Corporation and Selangor Youth Community (SAY), we hope to ensure that these newly skilled young people are connected to emerging opportunities within Malaysia’s growing digital economy.”

Investing in a Future-Ready Workforce

As Trainocate Malaysia looks beyond its 30-year milestone, TrAInocate Career Jumpstart 30 demonstrates how industry, government agencies, and community organisations can work together to create meaningful pathways into the workforce and ensure no young Malaysian is left behind in the age of AI.

The programme reflects Trainocate’s continued commitment to developing future-ready talent and building a more inclusive digital economy for all.
