Blueshark has launched the SoloEra Solo 2 in Malaysia, the second of three models to be introduced under its new high-value sub-brand, SoloEra. It is now available for sale following the successful pre-launch promotion of the SoloEra Solo 1C which saw almost 9,000 pre-order bookings during the promotion period from July 15 to September 16 this year.
To celebrate a milestone, from 10 October 2025, the first 50 customers can pre-order the SoloEra Solo 2 electric motorcycle for a special Early-Bird price of RM5,599 (includes a free Blueshark helmet). After this offer, the retail price will be RM6,399. A five-year dual battery rental agreement at RM99/month plus a connectivity pack at RM10/month is required, which includes an unlimited warranty. Pre-orders will be fulfilled within two months by Blueshark and its dealers, with shipping charges applicable and additional fees for East Malaysia.
The SoloEra brand was created by Blueshark to provide high-quality, accessible electromobility solutions for more Malaysians and to enhance 2WEV adoption in support of the nation’s Net Zero goals. The SoloEra Solo 2 produces a significant reduction in CO2 emissions, potentially eliminating up to 3,500kg annually, with a top speed of 95 km/h and a range of 140 km on second-generation LFP batteries. These batteries, rated at 4,000W, offer enhanced safety features and durability, including a lifecycle of over 2,000 recharge cycles and thermal failure resistance up to 800°C.
The vehicle is equipped with double hydraulic disc brakes, has a weight of 100kg (132kg with batteries), and supports a maximum payload of 270kg. Designed for gig work, it features a removable pillion seat and cargo rails. Additionally, it offers a comfortable ride with standard front forks and shock absorbers, supported by specific tyre sizes for optimal performance.
The Solo 2 features four riding modes, including a Motor Assist Mode, and offers app connectivity for smart features such as vehicle status, a 7” LED screen, Bluetooth key entry, an anti-theft system, and a Find My Vehicle function. It will be available in three colors: Stardust Blue, Eclipse Gold, and Orion Grey, and will be assembled locally by EP Manufacturing Berhad at its Glenmarie facility.
