Christian Louboutin debuts Women’s Spring/Summer 2026 show in football field

Christian Louboutin, along with David LaChapelle and Blanca Li, presented the latest Loubi Show, featuring a blend of art and athleticism. Held at the Dojo Arena in Paris, this unique performance is inspired by the shared excitement of American town homecoming games.

Under the visionary artistic direction of David LaChapelle, choreographed by Blanca Li, the show unfolds as a vivid tableau of passion and competition. In five acts, it reinterprets the traditions of celebration, featuring the sapeur-pompiers de Paris, dynamic cheerleaders, a live performance, dancers as passionate football players, and a grand finale, capturing the spirit of festivity and triumph.

The Loubi Show evokes joyful memories, immersing the audience in a nostalgic teenage atmosphere where freedom and imagination flourish. LaChapelle’s whimsical theatrical world features unexpected characters, starting with a Parisian model entering the field with a lawnmower, followed by a baton twirler and a seahorse mascot, embodying fun and creativity.

Musically, the show merges American and French traditions, with Milo Thoretton performing elegant and energetic songs that celebrate the dreamlike essence of youth. The finale showcases Christian Louboutin’s artistry through the Ballerina Ultima, a stunning reinterpretation adorned with strass, honoring the brand’s craftsmanship and vision.

The performance culminates in the introduction of the Cassia line, featuring ballet-inspired designs such as the Cassia Annmac, Cassiasticina, and the bold Ruben for men, expanding the collection’s imaginative spirit.

Designed with the beauty of ballet, the pieces flow smoothly against the lively and energetic background of the stadium.

This mix of softness and energy creates a surprising contrast, where grace meets the excitement of competition, bringing fantasy to life. The result is a joyful and dreamy atmosphere where elegance and the intensity of sports combine.
