After an exciting year hosting the 2019 Shell Eco-marathon Asia, Shell Malaysia decided to improve the Malaysian university entrant by providing more assistance to shine better in 2020. For this year Shell Malaysia is working together Malaysia Automotive Robotics and IoT Institute (MARii), to grant access for all the entrant to collaborate with four local original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).

Opportunity to collaborate but with a catch

So the opportunity door is opened to all the Malaysian university entrants, however, there is a catch. The students are required to pitch their car ideas to the four local OEMs. Not an easy task but it will helped the students in the future to improved on their pitching and marketing skills.
The industry players who participated to collaborate with the entrants are Suria Component Manufacturing (M) Sdn. Bhd, Sapura Engineering Sdn Bhd, Kasai Teck See Malaysia Sdn Bhd and Jasa Sarjana Sdn Bhd. A huge thanks to four local companies for giving the effort to support our home-grown talents.
