Rakuten Kobo has officially launched Kobo Plus in Malaysia – an all-you-can-read subscription offering unlimited access to over 2 million eBooks and 300,000 audiobooks for just MYR 27.00 monthly.
Avid readers in Malaysia, including over 200,000 Kobo members, can now use Kobo Plus through the Kobo Books App for iOS or Android and on Kobo eReaders to explore new authors and genres.
The global eBook market is worth USD 18.02 billion this year and is expected to reach USD 22.76 billion by 2030, growing at a rate of 4.78% annually. Growth will mainly come from Asia, where Kobo Plus’s launch in Malaysia meets the rising demand for digital reading. This move allows Kobo to reach new readers who value affordability, accessibility, and convenience.
