LEON FUAT BERHAD (“Leon Fuat” or the “Group”) announced that shareholders approved all resolutions at the 18th Annual General Meeting (“AGM”) held at Tropicana Golf & Country Resort, Petaling Jaya.
A key resolution was the declaration of a final single-tier dividend of 1.0 sen per share for the financial year ended 31 December 2024 (“FYE2024”), to be paid on 22 July 2025 to shareholders listed in the Record of Depositors as of 30 June 2025.
Shareholders received the Audited Financial Statements for FYE2024 and approved Directors’ fees and allowances until the next AGM. Dato’ Lim Cheng Poh, Dato’ Sri Ooi Bin Keong, and Ooi Seng Khong were re-elected as Directors. Messrs Baker Tilly Monteiro Heng PLT was re-appointed as auditors for the financial year ending 31 December 2025.
In addition to the ordinary business, shareholders passed several key resolutions under special business. These included the renewal of authority for the Directors to issue shares under Sections 75 and 76 of the Companies Act 2016, and the proposed renewal of the existing shareholders’ mandate for recurrent related party transactions of a revenue or trading nature.
Calvin Ooi Shang How, Executive Director of Leon Fuat expressed appreciation for the continued support, stating, “We thank our shareholders for their ongoing trust and endorsement of all resolutions tabled at this year’s AGM. The approval of the dividend reflects our commitment to rewarding shareholders, even as we navigate a dynamic operating landscape.”
