KitchenAid launches new Go Cordless System lineup in Malaysia; uses removable 12V Max lithium-ion battery

KitchenAid has recently launched the Go Cordless System in Malaysia, a lineup of small appliances designed for convenient cooking and living today. Combining portability, performance and style, this new collection enhances the cooking experience without being bound by cords.

The new KitchenAid cordless system features six innovative small appliances, all powered by the same interchangeable battery for easy use from prep to clean-up. Four are available in Malaysia: the Go Cordless Hand Mixer with seven speeds and a Soft Start function to reduce splatter, the Go Cordless Hand Blender with a stainless steel blade and variable speed trigger for blending in pots or pitchers, the Go Cordless Food Chopper with a five-cup capacity for quick chopping tasks, and the Go Cordless Personal Blender with a 16-ounce jar and travel lid for easy blending on the go.

Completing the lineup are the Go Cordless Blade Grinder for grinding coffee beans or spices, and the Go Cordless Citrus Juicer, which features forward and reverse movements for optimal juice extraction from various fruits.

The KitchenAid Go Cordless System removes the need for fixed kitchens, reduces clutter, and enhances cooking flexibility, allowing creativity to flourish anywhere. The latest Go Cordless System caters to urban professionals and food enthusiasts with its removable 12V Max lithium-ion battery that powers six appliances, all kept organized in a compact charging dock.

Ms. Lim Pei Yan, Co-owner and Executive Director of Visionary Solutions Sdn Bhd, the exclusive distributor of KitchenAid in Malaysia, shared that KitchenAid is strategically expanding its footprint in the Malaysian cordless small appliance market. “This cordless ecosystem is designed to grow year over year, boosting consumer confidence in our commitment to the category, and maximizing the everyday benefits of going cordless. It marks an exciting step forward in our efforts to provide the freedom to make—anytime, anywhere—cementing KitchenAid’s leadership in the premium kitchen appliance space.”

The global cordless appliances market is projected to grow from USD 41.4 billion in 2022 to USD 77.2 billion by 2031, driven by increasing demand for portable, flexible kitchen solutions. Meanwhile, compact kitchen appliances are fuelling rapid growth in the small appliances category, with the global market expected to grow at a CAGR of 5.9% through 2030 as urban consumers prioritize space efficiency. Malaysia mirrors this trend, with rising demand for portable and space-saving solutions. “The Go Cordless System meets this moment,” said Ms. Lim. “It is not just cordless—it is cooking unchained, whether you’re blending smoothies indoors or prepping sambal by the pool.”

Cordless functionality is increasingly sought after by premium consumers—those who desire products that perform well while complementing their refined lifestyle and space. The Go Cordless System supports clean, uncluttered counters while delivering the same trusted performance KitchenAid is known for.

Chef Collin from TCH Foodworks, enthused,” As a chef, I believe great and creative cooking comes from feeling free and at ease in your space. The Go Cordless System gives you that freedom—it lets you move effortlessly from kitchen to balcony or garden, making the act of cooking feel more natural and intuitive. What stands out to me is how KitchenAid has preserved the power and reliability it is known for while designing a product that fits seamlessly into modern homes. It is a classic appliance, thoughtfully reimagined for today’s way of living,”

The KitchenAid Go Cordless System is now available at leading retailers nationwide such as Harvey Norman, SEIBU The Exchange TRX, Parkson, TBM, Shopee, Lazada and online at www.kitchenaid.my.
