KAO Malaysia partners with Watsons to launch “Skin Protection, Life Perfection” Campaign

KAO Malaysia, in collaboration with Watsons, launched the “Skin Protection, Life Perfection” campaign to encourage Malaysians to adopt skin protection for lifelong health and confidence. The campaign introduces a collaborative ecosystem that combines Bioré skincare solutions with Watsons’ rewards programs and includes a 1% sales donation drive to support local research on skin protection and health.

Skin Protection, Life Perfection

To kick off the campaign, an event was organised featuring industry experts. The session began with a keynote by Associate Professor ChM. Dr. Noraini from Universiti Malaya on “The Science Behind Effective Skincare Ingredients.” She discussed the long-term benefits of skin protection on dermatological health. This was followed by a demonstration by Dr. Lim Ing Kien from Ventamin, showcasing customised skincare regimens for various age groups, reinforcing the message that healthy skin requires a tailored approach throughout life.

With daily exposure to UV rays, heat, and dust threatening skin health, KAO is leveraging Bioré’s expertise to offer a skincare regimen that protects, nourishes, and empowers individuals. The Bioré range advocates a “Cleanse. Protect.” philosophy, combining gentle cleansing with effective UV-blocking formulations to enhance skin resilience, enabling users to maintain healthy skin while pursuing their goals with confidence.

Encouraging Healthier Habits, Together

As the official retail partner, Watsons is extending the campaign with customer incentives promoting skin protection. From May to August 2025, consumers can earn rewards through Watsons’ loyalty programs:

  • W Rewards: Redeem a Bioré Guard MOS Block 50g with 500 Watsons points
  • E-Stamp Program: Collect stamps to redeem Bioré products including the Bioré Guard MOS Block 50g, Bioré UV Aqua Rich Aqua Protect Mist 60ml and Tone Up Essence 70g

The campaign reflects KAO Malaysia’s commitment to community health through collaboration with key partners. Notably, it includes the “Guard Our Future” project – a dengue prevention initiative featuring educational workshops, product donations, and cleanups in Selangor. Supported by the Selangor State Government, whose Public Health Committee advocates for proactive dengue management, this launch event highlights a shared interest in promoting public well-being through preventive care.
