Jameson has announced that its Jameson Distilled Sounds events will return to Malaysia, this time at The Zhongshan Building. This edition will celebrate the release of a limited-edition bottle designed with multi-Grammy-winning artist Anderson .Paak, while showcasing Southeast Asian talents. With 18 artists and a stacked lineup, the takeover is happening on Saturday, 17 May 2025, from 6:00 PM till late.
Jameson Distilled Sounds is a global music programme and local event series aimed at connecting a diverse music community—from Kuala Lumpur to Cork. Launched in 2024 with Anderson .Paak, it supports emerging talent by creating space for collaboration and growth. Malaysian singer-songwriter Claudia Tan is the first local artist mentored by .Paak. Just as Jameson is triple distilled for smoothness, the Zhongshan Building edition unites communities and styles with the same craftsmanship that defines Jameson.
Spanning indie, electronic, funk, soul, and deep house, the lineup offers a raw take on Southeast Asia’s sound—distilled and defiant. Performances will take place at The Courtyard, a space known for sourdough by day and music by night. From Thailand, NOTEP blends ambient electronica with organic textures for a soulful journey that’s both meditative and modern. Malaysia’s Talitha Tan brings smooth indie R&B pop and heartfelt lyrics—perfect for anyone who’s loved hard and vibes harder. Saint Kylo, a powerhouse of R&B and funk, elevates the energy with infectious grooves. Also on stage are Su San, Daaliah’s groove-forward DJ set, X.U’s electronic edge, and Kent Lee, who adds a live handpan layer for a textured experience.
Catch the skyline and the sound as No One, Sheryn, Raven, Diorck, and B from Manipulated Mood Group take over the Kantata rooftop with high-octane DJ sets moving from hypnotic builds to bangers—a golden hour session that sets the tone for the night.
Indie tastemakers Chaseylain and Ribut 1059 of Twilight Actiongirl (TAG) return with eclectic DJ sets that nod to their roots in KL’s alternative scene, closing the night in Kantata with a special B2B blending nostalgia and fresh sonic twists. At Triptyk, the atmosphere turns to cocktail hour as music and drinks come together. Mixologists Angel Ji and Steve Foo create special Jameson cocktails paired with music by Viene and Vanns Ngo. Just when you think it’s ending, a surprise tech house DJ will ramp up the excitement one more time.

Savour Pixies & Vespers’ yakitori skewers are made to go well with a Jameson, Ginger Ale & Lime.
