Etiqa has officially launched the MyRider Plus in Malaysia, an optional add-on to Etiqa Comprehensive Motorcycle Insurance/Takaful policy/certificate for motorcycles 250cc and above.

Generally, the Comprehensive Motorcycle Insurance/Takaful policy/certificate protects the motorcycle against damage, theft and accidents. So, the MyRider Plus is offering additional protection and support designed for the rider and the riding journey. MyRider Plus is focused on riders who owns motorcycles 250cc and above. This may include:

• Big-bike enthusiasts
• Daily commuters
• Weekend riders
• Touring enthusiasts
• Adventure riders
• Motorcycle club members
• Long-distance riders

However, keep it mind that the plan is only cater for personal usage, so if you’re doing e-hailing or commercial related, it doesn’t cover it. Another aspect to take note is that the plan also doesn’t cover for any track or offroad usage as well.
