
BMW Motorrad Malaysia has unveiled the latest BMW CE 02 and three 2024 motorcycles: the BMW F 900 GS, BMW R 1300 GS and BMW S 1000 XR at the Malaysia Autoshow 2024.
2024 BMW CE 02

The 2024 BMW CE 02 is an electric e-Parkourer designed for urban mobility. The futuristic vehicle features large wheels for durability and promises exhilarating rides across diverse terrains. Its sleek black frame, wheels, front fender, and triple clamp fairing add to its aesthetic appeal. The vehicle is available in Style HIGHLINE Cosmic Black, with a dynamic contrast between matte and high-gloss.



It features hydraulically damped telescopic forks at the front wheel, a single-sided swingarm, and directly pivoted shock absorber at the rear. Its wide tires are mounted on cast light alloy wheels in a striking disc wheel design, complemented by disc brakes for secure deceleration. With a lightweight build of only 132 kg, it measures 1970mm in length and stands 1140mm tall from its windshield, making it perfect for navigating urban landscapes.
The e-motorcycle offers a maximum power output of 11 kW (15 hp) and 55 Nm of torque, allowing for stop-and-go acceleration from 0 to 50 km/h in 3 seconds. It reaches a top speed of 95 km/h and has a 6kWh lithium-ion battery that provides a generous maximum range of 100 km. Charging is easy with the included 900W external charger, and quick charging capabilities of up to 1500W can reduce charging time to approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes.
On the road, the CE 02 features a 3.5-inch TFT colour display with extensive connectivity through the BMW Motorrad Connect Application. It offers three distinct driving modes: ‘Flow’ for relaxed cruising, ‘Surf’ for dynamic city traffic, and ‘Flash’ for sportier rides. The BMW Motorrad Connect Application also includes a USB socket, keyless ride functionality, reversing aid, and cradle mode, ensuring seamless integration of technology in the riding experience.
2024 BMW F 900 GS

The 2024 BMW F 900 GS is a premium mid-range touring motorcycle that offers enhanced off-road capabilities and a weight reduction of 14 kg compared to its predecessor. It features advanced lighting technology, including LED daytime running light and LED indicators, for optimal visibility during both daytime and nighttime journeys. The motorcycle’s design is updated with a dynamic aesthetic, featuring a redesigned fuel tank with a capacity of 14.5 litres and a sporty rear silencer by Akrapovič. The Enduro Pro Package, which includes adjustable titanium nitride-coated upside-down telescopic forks, central spring strut, sport frame, black handlebar, handlebar riser, and an M-Endurance chain, further refines the motorcycle’s off-road capabilities and durability.




The new F 900 GS comes with practical and rider-friendly amenities such as an engine guard, heated grips, hand protectors, adjustable foot brake and gear levers, and striking color options in Sao Paulo Yellow and Racing Blue Metallic. The two-cylinder in-line engine, first introduced in 2018 with the BMW F 850 GS, now delivers 77 kW (105 hp) at 8.500 rpm and 93 Nm of torque at 6,750 rpm. The engine also offers a firing interval of 270/450 degrees, emitting an emotive sound, and accelerates to a top speed of over 200 km/h.
The 6.5-inch TFT display is standard, offering a user-friendly interface and unparalleled diversity of information. The motorcycle also comes with two standard riding modes, “Rain” and “Road,” providing riders with adaptability to varying road conditions. Overall, the New BMW F 900 GS is a bold addition to the premium mid-range touring segment.
The F 900 GS is also equipped with Dynamic Traction Control, cornering-optimised BMW Motorrad ABS Pro, and a dynamic brake light, as well as additional features like Gear Shift Assistant Pro, Keyless Ride, RDC (tyre pressure control), 12-volt and USB power sockets, enhancing the overall riding experience.
2024 BMW R 1300 GS

The 2024 BMW R 1300 GS is a significant improvement in the local market, featuring advanced lighting, cross-spoked wheels, and a new aluminum fuel tank. Powered by the 1,300 cc two-cylinder boxer engine, it can delivers exceptional performance with an impressive output of 107 kW (145 hp) at 7,750 rpm and a maximum torque of 149 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The bike’s weight reduction of 12 kg, with a total weight of just 237 kg, ensures it continues to set the standard for performance, handling, and adventure capability in the motorcycle market.


The latest electronic Dynamic Suspension Adjustment (DSA) takes motorcycle suspension to the next level by adjusting both front and rear damping, along with the spring rate, based on selected riding modes, road conditions, and manoeuvres. This ensures optimal load compensation, delivering a smoother and more responsive riding experience tailored to the demands of every journey.
The R 1300 GS introduces an expanded range of riding modes, offering four options instead of three to suit individual rider preferences. The “Rain” and “Road” modes provide adaptable riding characteristics suitable for various road conditions, while the “Eco” mode maximizes fuel efficiency and the new “Enduro” mode enhances the off-road riding experience with a specialized setup tailored for adventurous terrain.
Connectivity is central to the R 1300 GS, with a versatile multifunctional instrument cluster featuring a vibrant 6.5-inch full-colour TFT display. Equipped with integrated operation via the standard BMW Motorrad multi-controller, riders can easily access vehicle and connectivity functions. The motorcycle also features advanced safety features, including Fully Integral ABS Pro for smooth braking and Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) for enhanced stability, ensuring a secure and exhilarating journey on any terrain.
The touring bike also offers a host of safety features to enhance rider comfort and convenience. KeylessRide, heated grips, and a smartphone charging compartment with USB socket ensure seamless connectivity. Other features include DCC for speed control with brake function and hand protection with integrated turn indicators. The Riding Assistant option includes Active Cruise Control, Front Collision Warning, and Lane Change Warning for added safety.
2024 BMW S 1000 XR

The 2024 BMW S 1000 XR is a high-performance adventure sports motorcycle that combines long-distance capability with high-performance dynamics. It offers heightened performance and comfort for extended journeys, allowing riders to be in control of the ride and dictate when the adventure concludes.


The S 1000 XR features a dynamic streamline silhouette, curved seating proportion, integrated Pannier Holders, toll card compartment, and storage space beneath the seat. It also features advanced lighting technology, including LED turn indicators, rear light unit, and adaptive cornering lights for night-time journeys. The motorcycle also features LED Auxiliary Lights and Headlight Pro DRL for daytime riding.
The heart of the S 1000 XR is a powerful in-line four-cylinder engine with a capacity of 999cc and an enhanced maximum output of 125 kW/ 170 hp at 11,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 114 Nm at 9,250 rpm. It features four riding modes: Rain, Road, Dynamic, and Dynamic Pro, and the latest generation of Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) and DTC Wheelie function. Standard features include Hill Start Control Pro for support on steep inclines, BMW Motorrad Dynamic ESA Pro for dynamic riding, and Shift Assist Pro for seamless gear transitions without clutch engagement. Additional accessories include Keyless Ride and a USB charging interface system.
