BMAI has launched the BMAI GCARBON TURBO 4 in Malaysia, a new top-of-the-line carbon-plated marathon shoe designed to help runners reach their personal best.
With the motto “Speed That Flows, Bounce That Lasts,” the GCARBON TURBO 4 includes a full-length T1000 carbon plate, upgraded BoomMAX Evonik nylon foam, a one-piece stretch tongue, and a durable PU outsole. These features work together to provide a good mix of speed, stability, comfort, and grip for long-distance running.
The GCARBON TURBO 4 is made for advanced runners aiming for a sub-3:30 marathon and is also good for competitive runners and race-pace training.
Built for Speed and Stability
At the core of the GCARBON TURBO 4 is its full-length T1000 carbon plate, improved from the previous T700 carbon plate. This stronger carbon plate offers better propulsion with each step, helping runners keep their speed and efficiency as they go faster.
The shoe also features an upgraded BoomMAX Evonik nylon supercritical foam midsole. With a wider base—4mm wider in the forefoot and 6mm in the midfoot—it gives a more stable feel while the responsive foam helps transfer energy from landing to pushing off. Together, the carbon plate and midsole work to provide a mix of propulsion and stability, allowing runners to maintain a smoother stride as they tire over long distances.

The GCARBON TURBO 4 features a stretch tongue, breathable mesh upper, and PU outsole for a secure fit, lightweight comfort, and good grip on dry and wet roads. Weighing about 135g in size 37 and 172g in size 41, with a 4.5mm drop, it offers a light, responsive, and stable racing shoe designed for long distances. It is also worth noting that the shoes cutting is unisex.
Real Runners, Real Performance
BMAI Malaysia has signed 12 athletes in running and endurance sports, showing its dedication to helping local talents and competitive athletes. The BMAI athlete team features Mohd Harmini Bin Ahmad, who won the Malaysia Marathon 10KM Veteran category; CheNora Ismail, who placed third in the 10KM Women Veteran category at the KB Half Marathon 2026; Arun Nadarajah, who won the WSE Athletics Penang Open 2026 3000M Men Open; and Qamarul Haziq Helmy Bin Kamaruazli, who came second in the Aquathlon Sprint Male category at the Melaka International Sports Festival 2026.
BMAI Malaysia is also launching the “Road to KLSCM” PB Program, which will bring together 30 elite athletes, running content creators, and everyday runners to train in the GCARBON TURBO 4, set personal goals, and prepare for KLSCM.
Through this athlete program and runner-led initiatives, BMAI aims to support runners of all skill levels and help grow Malaysia’s running community.
Growing with Malaysia’s Running Community
BMAI currently has three BMAI Runner House locations in Kepong, Setapak and Seberang Jaya and plans to expand to Johor Bahru and East Coast Malaysia. By growing its retail network and community programs, BMAI wants to reach more runners in Malaysia and build better ties with local running groups.
The brand aims to connect with about 200 running clubs throughout Malaysia, strengthening local running communities through training sessions, community runs, product experiences, and grassroots activities. These efforts are designed to encourage more people to start running, inspire greater participation in the sport, and help grow Malaysia’s running culture.
For top athletes, BMAI will offer additional support through its Elite Athlete Program, which includes professional running gear, training resources, and chances to attend specialized training camps in China. Selected athletes may join two- to three-week training camps that provide structured preparation and opportunities to enhance their performance.
