2026 PROTON S70 Lite & Prime variants officially launched with prices starts from RM56,800*

PROTON has recently launched the 2026 PROTON S70 Lite and Prime variants, priced from RM56,800*. The new S70 variants still provide 10 class-leading features and a naturally aspirated powertrain, bringing its space, comfort, connectivity and safety to more Malaysians. 

The starting price from RM56,800* is only eligible for all customers who book and register their 2026 PROTON S70 Lite or Prime by 31 December 2026 will received a RM3,000 early bird reward. 

10 CLASS-LEADING FEATURES FOR EVERYDAY DRIVING 

The new models include 10 top features that provide plenty of space in the cabin and excellent shoulder room for back passengers, thanks to a wider body and longer wheelbase. A nearly flat rear floor makes it more comfortable for three passengers to sit together.

The interior has a soft-touch instrument panel and smart design details that create a nice atmosphere, while useful storage options make daily use easier.

For connectivity and convenience, there are features like wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, available from October 2026, an Electric Parking Brake with Auto Brake Hold, windows that go up and down automatically with anti-trap, remote engine start, and five USB ports, with different features available depending on the model.

Safety is enhanced with six airbags and parking sensors in the front and back, along with the Rear Side Radar System that includes Blind Spot Detection, Lane Change Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Door Opening Warning, and Rear Collision Warning, varying by model. All models come with a Reverse Camera and a Rear Seat Reminder as standard features.

ENGINEERED FOR A SMOOTHER DRIVE 

Both versions use a naturally aspirated i-GT 1.5-litre engine connected to a CVT with a torque converter, providing a smooth and comfortable ride. The engine is designed to reduce noise and vibrations, ensuring a peaceful cabin experience. This easy and relaxed driving style is great for city trips, family outings, and longer journeys.

These versions maintain PROTON Ride & Handling and offer three driving modes, letting drivers adjust to various conditions and preferences. They add to the current S70 lineup, with features tailored to meet different customer needs.

The 2026 PROTON S70 Lite and Prime are available in Quartz Black, Marine Blue, Space Grey, Snow White, and Armour Silver.

• Standard Package: Every purchase of the 2026 PROTON S70 i-GT 1.5 includes Pro-Warranty*, with a 5-year unlimited-mileage warranty and six services with free labour. 

• Financing and trade-in support: Pro-Finance* is available to eligible customers, offering financing of up to 9 years at interest rates from 2.35% per annum, subject to financing approval and applicable terms. Pro-Trade-In*, providing overtrade support of up to RM2,000 for customers trading in their existing vehicles, alongside other offers. 

• Optional insurance protection: Pro-Shield*, the PROTON Insurance Programme, offers upgraded protection including Special Perils coverage, windscreen coverage, enhanced flood relief coverage of up to RM2,000, and passenger personal accident coverage of up to RM15,000 per person for up to four passengers.
