PROTON has officially confirmed the 2026 PROTON S70 with released of official images of the sedan. It is also begun arriving at authorised 3S/4S showrooms nationwide, with bookings now officially open from 7 February onwards.
The 2026 PROTON S70 is shaped around four key pillars that define its character and direction, reflecting PROTON’s focus on performance-led engineering, intelligent technology, and refined daily usability.
For the 2026 model, it is powered by a turbocharged i-GT 1.5-litre engine paired with a 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT). It can deliver 181PS and 290Nm of torque and reaching the century in just 7.5 seconds, while maintaining impressive fuel efficiency of 5.7L/100km. The enhanced calibration ensures smoother gear shifts, more responsive performance, and lower running costs, giving drivers a better balance of power, efficiency, and everyday use.
The exterior also get enhanced styling with LED headlamps and Daytime Running Lamps, new 17-inch alloy wheels, and an updated aerokit. Inside, a sleek black interior with refined finishes enhances the driver-focused cabin and reinforces the sedan’s modern, performance-oriented character.
The brand also adds wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on the 2026 PROTON S70’s 12.3-inch infotainment display. There is also intelligent voice interaction and enhanced in-car connectivity features for improve convenience, accessibility, and driver interaction.

With bookings opening on 7 February 2026, customers can place a RM500 booking fee at authorised PROTON 3S/4S showrooms nationwide to secure priority ownership ahead of the official launch on 11 February 2026.
