Xiaomi Malaysia will launch the new Xiaomi 17T Series at Bangunan Sultan Abdul Samad, coinciding with KL Festival 2026, celebrating technology, culture, and creativity in Kuala Lumpur.
During the exhibition, a historic first-time showcase of the late Almarhum Sultan Ismail Nasiruddin Shah‘s personal photography collection will highlight His Royal Highness’s passion for photography. Visitors will also experience the Xiaomi 17T Series through a curated photo exhibition at Bangunan Sultan Abdul Samad, featuring vintage Leica photography and shots taken with Xiaomi smartphones co-engineered with Leica.
This year’s Xiaomi 17T series showcase includes interactive zones around the River of Life, allowing visitors to test the device’s imaging capabilities in Kuala Lumpur’s historic settings.

The exhibition at Federal Hall 1 & 2, Bangunan Sultan Abdul Samad, is open to the public from 30th May to 1st June 2026. Visitors can enjoy the photo gallery at Federal Hall 1 or explore the smart home exhibit, Rumah Malaysia Then & Now, at Federal Hall 2. At the River of Life, near Makan Buzz, guests can try out the Xiaomi 17T series smartphones at an experiential booth. Additionally, Xiaomi is hosting a photowalk led by photographer Yuji Haikal, where participants can learn photography tips and tricks while using the Xiaomi 17T series.
