As a new, intuitive interaction form, Origin Island shows real-time status at the top of the screen and stays visible when switching apps, integrating with Android 16’s Live Updates. It offers contextual actions like Copy and Go (quickly copying phone numbers or meeting details) and Drag and Go (editing a photo and dragging it to continue in a suggested app).

Availability and Upgrade Plan
OriginOS 6 will launch globally in November 2025, with Malaysia as one of the first markets. The vivo X300 Series will be the first model pre-installed with the new OS in Malaysia. Upgrade timelines may vary by region based on local strategies.
