
Dear X, a Korean drama series which stars Kim You-jung and Kim Young-dae, is set to make its streaming debut on Thursday, 6 November 2025 on HBO Max. The drama series was featured at the 2025 Busan International Film Festival.





The 12-episode romance thriller series from TVING, adapted from the award-winning NAVER Webtoon by Van Zi-un, follows Baek Ah Jin (Kim You-jung), a successful actress with a hidden traumatic past, and her love interest, Yoon Jun Seo (Kim Young-dae), who protects her at all costs.
The highly anticipated series has gained immense traction since its announcement and features a star-studded cast, including Kim You-jung, Kim Youngdae, Kim Do-hoon, and Lee Yuleum. Dear X, directed by Lee Eung-bok and Park So-hyeon, is developed by Studio Dragon, produced by Monster Union and Siwoo Company, and written by Choi Ja-won and Van Zi-un.
As part of the recently announced partnership between CJ ENM and Warner Bros. Discovery, Dear X is the first original series to premiere on HBO Max in the Asia Pacific. In 2026, a TVING hub will launch on HBO Max in 17 markets, including Southeast Asia, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, offering exclusive premieres of TVING’s new K-drama titles and hundreds of hours of CJ ENM’s and TVING’s best series.
