vivo might be unveiling their first foldable phone in 2021 with the latest design patent revealed. Along with the foldable phone design patent revealed, it also show there will be a stylus pen to come along with it. According to LetsGoDigital, vivo has filed a design patent with the WIPO (World Intellectual Property Office) in February 2020.
One can expect the pen’s tip is made of soft rubber material to avoid scratches on the foldable screen. It even showed the stylus pen can be stored at the unique hinge design with a silo. Besides, the foldable smartphone design features an inward folding screen that unfolds into a tablet that could function for business use as well.
However, the specifications and other features of the foldable smartphone are yet to be revealed. From the foldable smartphone patented design, it showcases vivo’s effort in developing user-centric products including its recent winning in Red Dot Award: Design Concept 2020 for its IFEA (Interest, Free, Explore, Amazing) camera design.
