Viu Malaysia has recently launched the latest series, Journal Sarahaeyo, bringing the world of K-pop fandom and love. The first episode of the rom com is officially released on 19 May 2023, with a new episode released every Friday thereafter.

The series follows the story of Sara, a university student who is an enthusiastic fan of K-dramas and K-pop. She has just started her final year and keeps a journal where she writes about her hopes and dreams of travelling to Korea and finding her “Oppa”. When she is tasked with organising her university trip to Korea, Sara sees it as an opportunity to pursue her dream. However, the journey is not without its difficulties as she faces people undermining her and being publicly humiliated by an anonymous Twitter account. Despite the challenges, she works hard to achieve her dreams with the support of her brother, Saif, and her friends, Raf and Layla.

Sara is portrayed by Arena Wan, a rising star and talented actress who won the Dewi Remaja Favourite title in 2018/2019. Since then, he has acted in various dramas, including Kebaya Kasut Kanvas and Lelaki Lingkungan Cinta. Aniq’s latest role in Astro Ria’s drama series, Kampung People Three, showcases his versatility as an actor.
