Ukay Hills has been officially launched, as a contemporary hillside estate designed to meet the growing demand for more purposeful, integrated event destinations in Malaysia. The launch was officiated by Duli Yang Maha Mulia Tengku Permaisuri Hajah Norashikin, Tengku Permaisuri Selangor, who unveiled the estate in a ceremony attended by partners, industry representatives and invited guests.

Ukay Hills is a modern destination estate that combines event venues, lifestyle suites, and dining experiences in one place. This integrated approach shows a trend in hosting weddings, corporate events, and gatherings, with organizers looking for venues that provide privacy, unique architecture, and easy movement between different areas for guests to stay, eat, and enjoy events.
Speaking at the launch, Chee Yong Fatt, Director of Ukay Hills said, “Ukay Hills was built with a clear intention: to give Malaysia a new kind of event estate — one that brings together inspiration for a pinterest-dream’s wedding to reality, hospitality and functionality in a way that feels contemporary and meaningful. We wanted to create a destination that serves weddings and private celebrations, but also supports the evolving needs of corporates, brands and lifestyle experiences.”
The opening also celebrates the official launch of Restaurant Seafood D’ Bendang at Ukay Hills. This restaurant, originally from Sekinchan, brings its culinary traditions to Ukay Hills, offering full-service dining, private VIP dining rooms, catering, and buffet services for events held on the property.
Set on the hillside in Bukit Antarabangsa, Ukay Hills has 29 lifestyle suites, a private dining room, a full-service restaurant, and three stylish event spaces inspired by European design and nature.
Each part of the estate can be used separately or together for larger events, making it ideal for multi-day weddings, corporate retreats, brand promotions, and exclusive private functions.
The estate’s concept aligns with Malaysia’s growing lifestyle tourism and premium event market. Recently, event organizers have been looking for venues with unique settings, flexible layouts, and great hosting options. Ukay Hills aims to meet this demand by offering a specially designed location that combines hospitality, design, and functionality all in one place.
Ray Cheng, Director of Ukay Hills, said, “At Ukay Hills, we put a lot of thought into creating an estate that feels coherent from the moment guests arrive, where the event spaces, suites and dining experiences connect naturally. Our goal is to offer hosts and planners a venue that is beautiful, functional and easy to work with, while giving guests a sense of escape without leaving the city.”
The launch event featured a tour of the estate’s venues, suites, and dining areas, highlighting how the modern glass design fits into the hillside. Guests participated in the unveiling ceremony, explored the estate, and enjoyed curated dining experiences by the Seafood D’ Bendang & Ukay Hills team.
