U Mobile was awarded the Malaysia Book of Records for achieving the Fastest 5G Network Rollout in the country, reaching 80% CoPA in under nine months, significantly ahead of its 2026 target. The company’s commitment extends to its in-building coverage, aiming for 175 IBC sites by July 2026.
The award was presented by Deputy Minister YB Teo Nie Ching, who emphasized U Mobile’s leadership and collaboration in enhancing connectivity for Malaysians, highlighting the role of the Dual 5G Network model in fostering competition and innovation, while aligning with the government’s MADANI vision for accessible and affordable connectivity.
