Toyota START YOUR IMPOSSIBLE Outrun 3rd Edition happening in Malaysia on 23 June 2024

UMW Toyota Motor Sdn Bhd (UMWT) is launching the third edition of the Toyota START YOUR IMPOSSIBLE Outrun, happening on 23 June 2024 at 6.30am, Dataran Merdeka, Malaysia. The event, part of its global Start Your Impossible (SYI) campaign, is an annual charity run that promotes mobility for all and raises awareness about cancer. The event aligns with Toyota’s branding initiative initiated during the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Proceeds from the event are allocated to supporting the National Cancer Society of Malaysia (NCSM), which raises cancer awareness, funds research, and provides vital support services to patients and their families.

The Toyota START YOUR IMPOSSIBLE Outrun is not just about encouraging physical activity but also fostering social responsibility and empowering individuals to embrace mobility as a catalyst for positive change in communities. The event offers race categories suitable for a wide range of ages and abilities, including competitive races, a 10KM race open to individuals aged 18 and above, and a Fun Run category for participants of all ages.

The Toyota START YOUR IMPOSSIBLE Outrun goes beyond competition, symbolizing the power of unity and community in effecting positive societal change. Cancer ranks as the fourth leading cause of death in Malaysia, emphasizing the need to raise awareness and rally support for this initiative. By uniting, we have the power to significantly impact the lives of cancer patients and their families while supporting vital research and services aimed at combating this disease. Registration for the Toyota START YOUR IMPOSSIBLE Outrun remains open until 2 June 2024.
