Toyota Start Your Impossible Outrun 2025 records over 6,500 participants

Over 6,500 runners participated in the fourth edition of the Toyota Start Your Impossible (SYI) Outrun 2025, which supports Toyota’s commitment to community mobility. This year, the event raised RM200,000 for the National Cancer Society Malaysia (NCSM), totaling over RM500,000 since 2020.

Datuk Ravindran K., President of UMW Toyota Motor, emphasized the broader meaning of mobility, uniting Malaysians in hope and purpose. The new 21KM Half Marathon joined the traditional 10KM and 5KM races, encouraging participation from all backgrounds, including cancer survivors and families.

While the course charted personal journeys, the event area became a mini wellness fest. Participants explored booths by NCSM, N8 Sports Nutrition, and ATF Sport Taping, took part in free health screenings, and enjoyed hands-on experiences from Toyota’s display fleet, which included Vios, Yaris G Limited, Hilux GRS, and Corolla Cross HEV. Visitors experienced Toyota’s offerings beyond the track, including interactive challenges at the Toyota Activity Zone and the Gazoo Racing showcase that highlighted motorsports. The Beyond Zero experience showcased Toyota’s electrified future with the bZ4X and Mirai, demonstrating the brand’s commitment to sustainability and innovation.

A lively kids zone, exciting percussion performances, stage games hosted by an emcee, and a photobooth area created a fun space for families to connect and celebrate. The top 10 finishers in the 10KM and 21KM races won over RM138,000 in cash prizes, while other participants enjoyed prizes worth more than RM19,000 in the Lucky Draw, including a Sony Bravia TV, Garmin Forerunner Triathlon Watch, and PlayStation 5. All runners received a race kit, and 21KM finishers got an exclusive finisher’s jersey, symbolizing their achievement.
