PUBG MOBILE National Championship MY Fall 2025 Squad Showdown kicking off this weekend

The long-awaited PUBG MOBILE National Championship (PMNC) is finally reaching its finale, with the final stage of the squad category happening this weekend from 1-3 August 2025. The competition is fierce, with a prize pool of RM10,000 up for grabs for the 16 teams. As the Official Smartphone Partner of PMNC MY Fall 2025, TECNO is supporting the event with the POVA 7 Ultra 5G.

The top two teams from the Squad category will qualify for the PMSL SEA Fall, and the Champion from that tournament will secure a spot in the PUBG MOBILE Global Championship (PMGC) 2025.

The finals for the Solo category were held last weekend, with HxKaitoGN taking first place and a share of the RM5,000 prize pool. This victory was impressive as HxKaitoGN beat veteran player HBSyamitz, known for competing in the PMSL SEA tournament. Both players are now being considered for recruitment by professional teams, similar to RAYYAN and BRIAN who were picked up after their strong performances in PMNC.

We also highlight the great efforts of other players. MUHDZAKI, who has participated twice, improved his game significantly, going from a Top 8 finish last season to a strong Top 4 this time. YONGGIRL, another returning player, impressed fans by ranking in the Top 2 out of 800 on Day 1 and eventually finished in the Top 8 on Day 2.

The Squad category will kick off this Friday, featuring invited teams like Sentry Symphony Esports (SSE), AZ Slumber (AZ), DX NSZ, Sdesa MYX (formerly known as Doppel Ganker), as well as last season’s top two teams, MAQNA ESPORTS CLUB (MEC) and NEW ERA (NWE). The competition for this year’s PMNC title will be tough, as many invited teams have changed their lineups to improve their chances. Will MEC and NWE defend their titles and move on to the next season of PMSL SEA 2025?

The final stage for the squad category will use the SMASH RULE format again. The target match point is set by the points of the Top 1 team plus 10 points. The team that reaches this target and wins a WWCD will be crowned Champion.

Eugene Chin, Country Manager (Malaysia) of Tencent Games, stated, “It’s exciting to see such talent from across the country. Their hard work and skill are evident, and I can’t wait to see them excel in the game. We at Tencent Games want to thank our amazing sponsor, TECNO, for their support in making this championship happen. Good luck to all players!”

Fans can watch this tournament live as it will be broadcasted live on PUBG MOBILE’s official pages.
