The organisers of Tokyo Auto Salon Malaysia 2026 has announced the event is ready to take place at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS), Selangor from 2 – 4 October 2026, with operating hours from 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM. Tokyo Auto Salon Malaysia 2026, under the theme “Step Into Japan’s Ultimate Ignition City”, will be bringing together auto styling, JDM culture, motorsports, tuners, drift demonstrations, and food.
The press conference, held at Togeya, has unveiled several key details for the upcoming Tokyo Auto Salon Malaysia 2026. Firstly, now it will consist of indoor and outdoor display and activities for visitors, enhancing JDM and automotive culture. Up next, its event highlights:
● Auto Styling — showcasing the creativity and visual expression of customized vehicles.
● JDM Gathering — celebrating Japanese Domestic Market automotive culture and enthusiast communities.
● Motorsports — bringing performance, competition and motorsport energy into the event.
● Tuners — highlighting the people, builds and brands that shape modern tuning culture. The organisers did mentioned during in a Q&A sessions, it will consists of 30% Japanese Tuners and 70% local tuners.
● Drift Demonstration — a high-energy live experience for visitors and automotive content creators.
● Food & Entertainment — complementing the automotive showcase with lifestyle and visitor experiences. So anticipate there will be the best of Malaysian and Japanese food at the event, along with performances by local and international artist.
Also, the organisers surprised the media and guest with the announcement of Sung Kang appearing at Tokyo Auto Salon Malaysia 2026. He will also promoting his lates film, Drifter, during the event.
Last but not least, the tickets to the event will begin from RM48 onwards, featuring Early Bird, Student, Normal, Family, Early Entry Pass, Collector Fast Lane, 3-Day Access Combo & VIP Experience. It is said that ticket sales will begin at the End of August 2026 with full pricing details will be available soon.
