The Exchange TRX has announced that they are hosting its own New Year’s Eve Countdown Party, featuring an evening filled with live performances, indulgent dining, late-night shopping, and a stunning display of fireworks and laser shows — all while supporting Kechara Soup Kitchen and its vital work with Malaysia’s Indigenous communities.
The New Year’s Eve Countdown Party is headlined by Canadian singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and record producer Henry Lau, known for his work as a member of Super Junior-M, along with American indie-pop duo Capital Cities, famed for their multi-platinum hit ‘Safe and Sound.’
Adding to the excitement is a showcase of Malaysia’s finest musical talent. P A L E N C I A will bring their unique folk music to the crowd while Saint Kylo will put on a high-octane and energetic live performance. Also joining the lineup is Yuji ft. Putri Dahlia, performing their hit song, which has garnered over 163 million Spotify streams and earned a Malaysia Book of Records title.
The energy continues with performances by genre-blending artist NYK and the ever-popular Daiyan Trisha, known for her vocal prowess and creative versatility. Fans of hip-hop can expect electrifying sets from Def Jam Presents: Joe Flizzow & SonaOne, as well as high-energy hits from Malaysia’s own K-Town Clan. Closing the night are Aidaho b2b Ashley Lau — who will keep the momentum alive right up to the midnight fireworks display.

- General Zone – Open to all guests, offering prime views of the main stage performances and an electric festival ambience.
- Members Zone – Exclusive to all Lendlease Plus MY loyalty members, offering premium access near the main stage for an up-close experience of the performances.
- TRX City Park: A family-friendly space open to the public, TRX City Park offers a scenic setting where guests of all ages can soak in the festive atmosphere. For a more elevated experience, Enthusiast, Insider, and Inspirer loyalty members can access the exclusive Viewing Lawn at Sunlight Plaza, which provides panoramic views of the fireworks and a live broadcast of the performances below. Access to this exclusive area requires verification via the The Exchange TRX mobile app at the entry point, after which guests will be issued a wristband for entry.

Gates open at 4:30 PM, with live performances starting at 5:00 PM. Entry queues will begin at 12:00 PM, and security checks with capacity controls will be in place to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees.

- TRX City Park: 8:00 AM – 1:00 AM (temporarily closed from 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM for event preparations)
Getting There:
- MRT Service: The Kajang and Putrajaya Lines will run extended hours until 1:30 AM, with a possible 30-minute extension based on demand. For seamless MRT boarding, guests are encouraged to use Touch ‘n Go or other cashless payment systems.
- Ride-Hailing: Guests using Grab or other ride-hailing services should head to the designated pick-up and drop-off points at ‘TRX Mall Valet’ and the ‘MRT Plaza Entrance’.
