Eco-shop is supporting families affected by recent floods in Kelantan and across the nation. With the Eco Care #SAMAHATISAMABANTU initiative, Eco-shop will provide RM2 million in e-vouchers to 20,000 families. Together with the Malaysian Red Crescent Society (MRCS), Eco-shop has also distributed 200 Care Packages valued at over RM10,000 to assist flood-affected communities in Kelantan.

The initiative is providing each eligible family to receive RM100 in e-vouchers from 13 to 26 December 2024. These vouchers can be used to purchase essential supplies, including food, household necessities, and personal care items, easing the burden of recovery and helping families get back on their feet. This initiative highlights Eco-shop’s commitment to resilience, unity, and supporting Malaysians in times of hardship.
“The devastation caused by these floods is a stark reminder of the immense challenges faced by vulnerable communities in the affected areas. Many families have lost not only their homes but also access to basic necessities, leaving them in urgent need of immediate assistance,” said Jessica Ng, CEO of Eco-shop Malaysia.
“At Eco-shop, we remain steadfast in our commitment to providing meaningful support to the communities we serve. Through the Eco Care initiative and our partnership with MRCS, we aim to bring some relief to those affected while standing with our fellow Malaysians during their most difficult times.”

This initiative is part of Eco-shop’s broader corporate social responsibility efforts, which focus on disaster relief, promoting sustainability, and assisting underprivileged communities across Malaysia.
“This effort is not just about delivering aid – it’s about standing in solidarity with our Malaysian friends and family. We encourage everyone to play a part in these efforts by supporting MRCS or other humanitarian organisations, for collective action can help restore hope and rebuild lives,” Jessica added.
