TQ WULING’s first model: affordable, practical and stylish EV

With our expertise in EVs, combined with Tan Chong Group’s strong market presence and manufacturing strength, we are excited to support Malaysia’s green mobility transition and bring sustainable driving solutions to local consumers,” said Tang Wensheng, President of PT SGMW Motor Indonesia. “ASEAN region is a key market for SGM Wuling’s overall strategic plan with key focus on Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia.”
Production and distribution
The TQ WULING Bingo and future models will be locally assembled at the Group’s automotive facility in Segambut for domestic use, with potential for export. This reinforces the Group’s commitment to localization by using Malaysian components, which boosts supply chain efficiency and reduces costs.
Tan Chong Motor Group will handle nationwide distribution, create a strong aftersales network, and oversee local assembly to ensure a great ownership experience for Malaysian consumers.
Over its nearly 50-year history, the plant has produced over one million vehicles and has consistently upheld quality standards, earning certifications such as ISO 9002 and successive upgrades, reflecting its commitment to manufacturing excellence.
