Samsung has announced its 2025 Smart Monitor, Odyssey Gaming Monitor and ViewFinity Monitor lineups, all of which will be on present at Samsung’s First Look at CES on 5 January 2025.
The 2025 models improve monitors with AI features, our first OLED sizes, and new designs that excite users worldwide, whether they are working, gaming, or creating.

Smart Monitor M9: Entertainment and Efficiency Get an AI Upgrade
The Smart Monitor M9 (M90SF model) is Samsung’s first monitor with AI features that improve entertainment and interaction through smart adjustments and search functions.
With its AI Picture Optimizer, the M9 analyzes what you’re watching—whether it’s gaming, videos, or work—and automatically changes the display settings for the best view. For gamers, it identifies the type of game and adjusts the picture settings for a more immersive experience.
The M9 also has 4K AI Upscaling Pro, which uses AI to turn lower-resolution images into 4K quality. By examining the input and current image data, it creates clear and detailed visuals, no matter the original resolution.
These smart features boost the M9’s performance. It has a 32” 4K OLED screen with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 for stunning details and bright colors. Its slim design and Easy Setup Stand help users easily set up their workspace, and the built-in 4K camera makes it suitable for any setting.
Samsung Odyssey Series: Two Samsung Firsts With a 27” 4K OLED Gaming Monitor and an OLED Screen With a 500Hz Refresh Rate
The Odyssey gaming monitor series introduces new sizes with the 2025 Odyssey OLED G8 and G6 models, offering amazing performance.
The Odyssey OLED G8 (G81SF model) is the world’s first 27” 4K (3,840 x 2,160) OLED gaming monitor. It features 165 PPI (pixels per inch) and a refresh rate of 240Hz. This high pixel density and smooth visuals give game creators and players improved detail and picture quality in realistic gaming worlds.
In contrast, the Odyssey OLED G6 (G60SF model) sets a new speed record as the first OLED screen with a 500Hz refresh rate on its QHD (2,560 x 1,440) display. This incredible speed and smooth gameplay help gamers gain an advantage through superior device performance.
Both models have a response time of 0.03ms (GTG) for clear visuals and smooth gameplay, even during fast-paced games. They support AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and are NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible, minimizing screen tearing and flickering. VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 provides rich darks without unwanted lighting effects, making the most of the OLED display. Additionally, OLED Glare Free screens reduce distractions from reflections and glare.
Samsung is also presenting the 27” Odyssey 3D (G90XF model) gaming monitor at CES. With its special lenticular lens and front stereo camera, the Odyssey 3D offers a customizable 3D experience without needing glasses. It can also use AI to change 2D videos into 3D, creating new depth in content.
ViewFinity S8: A Bigger Canvas for Productivity and Creativity
The 37” ViewFinity S8 (S80UD model) is the biggest 16:9 4K monitor available. Its screen is about 34% larger than the last model, aiming to boost productivity and provide an immersive experience. You can see more information easily while saving space on your desk, which introduces a new level of large, high-productivity monitors.
With its 99% sRGB color range, the ViewFinity S8 shows accurate colors on the 4K (3,840 x 2,160) screen, offering the brightness and color quality needed for professionals to excel in their work.
The 2025 ViewFinity S8 is TÜV Rheinland certified for ‘Ergonomic Workspace Display,’ highlighting its design that improves work focus, efficiency, and productivity. It has TÜV-certified Intelligent Eye Care that reduces eye strain by adjusting colors based on the light in your environment. Features like Eye Saver mode and flicker-free technology help protect your eyes, even during long hours of use.
The S8 comes with an Easy Setup Stand for quick assembly and includes a built-in KVM switch. This allows you to control multiple devices with just one mouse and keyboard.
