Samsung recently launched its updated “AI Home” vision and innovative appliances at the Welcome to Bespoke AI event in Seoul, Korea. The focus is on enhancing user experience through advanced AI features and a broader range of screen-enabled appliances. Jeong Seung Moon, EVP of the R&D Team for Digital Appliances, emphasized the goal of creating an AI Home that seamlessly connects devices to meet user needs throughout the home.
“Through our Bespoke AI appliances, Samsung has brought an AI Home to life that not only enhances everyday convenience but also enables energy savings and care,” said Jeong Seung Moon. “We will continue to expand the advanced AI Home to more households, leveraging smart screens, Bixby and Knox security.”
The 2025 Bespoke AI Appliance Lineup

The event introduces Samsung’s 2025 Bespoke AI Appliance Lineup, offering new and innovative functionalities to solve users’ difficult problems.
The company’s vision centers on the AI Home display, which has evolved from last year’s introduction to include various new products like Bespoke AI Refrigerators and Laundry Vented Combos.
The 9-inch AI Home screen on the Bespoke AI Refrigerator provides a user experience similar to the larger AI Family Hub screen, featuring enhanced food management with automatic recognition of processed food. Additionally, the 7-inch AI Home in the Bespoke AI Laundry allows users to control washing and drying cycles and manage connected devices.
The new Bespoke AI appliances, such as the Hybrid Refrigerator, use AI to optimize cooling by monitoring conditions and predicting temperature changes.
The Bespoke AI Laundry introduces new standalone models featuring upgraded AI Wash+ and AI Dry+, designed to use up to 55% less energy than class A minimum requirements. Additionally, Samsung launched the Bespoke AI Laundry Vented Combo, which completes washing and drying in just 68 minutes using its Super Speed cycle.
Samsung is enhancing its vacuum cleaner range with the launch of the Bespoke AI Jet Ultra, a cordless stick vacuum featuring a powerful suction of up to 400W and an upgraded AI Cleaning Mode 2.0 for improved cleaning across various environments. Additionally, the Bespoke AI Jet Bot Steam Ultra robot vacuum is designed to navigate thresholds and incorporates AI Object Recognition to identify small obstacles and transparent liquids, ensuring better cleaning, especially in challenging areas like corners.
Samsung Home Appliances Bring Easy to Use, Care and Saving to Consumers
Samsung expanded on its “AI Home” vision, committing to AI integration across the connected experience to enhance diverse lifestyles through Easy to Use, Care, and Saving.
The AI Home display enhances user interaction with Bespoke AI appliances, acting as a central control hub that connects third-party devices via SmartThings. Users can access features like the Daily Board for personalized information and Map View to manage connected devices.
The upgraded Bixby enables easier appliance control via voice commands and introduces features like Voice ID, personalizing services by recognizing users’ voices. It syncs with their Samsung accounts and displays their calendars, and for users with low vision, it can automatically adjust settings on their Galaxy smartphone for improved viewing.
New SmartThings services, like Family Care, alert family members if a user’s movement is not detected at scheduled times or if there is inactivity for a while. Additionally, a robot vacuum can be utilized to search for signs of emergencies, all secured by Samsung Knox.
Continued Efforts to Deliver Reliable Experiences
To achieve its “AI Home” vision for 2025, Samsung is focusing on innovation and making sure users have a safe experience.
First, Samsung will enhance its Knox security across all devices, allowing users to enjoy their AI Home experience safely. This year, a feature called Trust Chain, part of Knox Matrix, will be included in all Wi-Fi enabled appliances launching in 2025. Users can check the security status of their products in real time on a dashboard.
For the first time, Knox Vault will protect sensitive user information, like passwords, in a separate hardware chip. To guard against future security threats, Samsung’s security also includes post-quantum cryptography (PQC) for its products with screens.
Another important goal for Samsung is to ensure customers can access the latest software features on their current appliances without needing to buy new ones. With Smart Forward, the software update service through SmartThings, Samsung will keep updating appliances with new features for a better user experience.
Samsung is also working on improving product maintenance. SmartThings Home Care uses AI to check each appliance’s condition and will notify users if it detects any issues. Additionally, a technical support representative can help users remotely based on early diagnosis results. This support is now available in more countries, including France, the Netherlands, and Canada, following its introduction in Korea and the United States.
By combining these initiatives, Samsung aims to provide safer and more dependable smart home experiences for users to enjoy with ease and confidence.
