Samsung Malaysia has unveiled its latest AI-powered TVs, including the Neo QLED 8K and 4K models and OLED TV. These innovative devices are designed to revolutionize home entertainment with advanced processors and innovative features. The Neo QLED 8K boasts lifelike picture quality, premium audio technology, and a rich array of apps and services. Its NQ8 AI Gen3 processor is Samsung’s fastest and most robust AI engine, delivering twice the speed of its predecessor and an eightfold increase in neural networks.
The Neo QLED also features 8K AI Upscaling, which improves low resolution content sharpness and harnesses the full potential of Samsung’s immaculate 8K display. The AI Motion Enhancer Pro enhances smoother visuals, while the Real Depth Enhancer Pro adds lifelike depth to features.
The QN800D and QN900D models are available in 75 and 85 inch sizes, with the QN900D model featuring an Infinity Air Design with a 13.1mm screen and Mystic Floating Stand. The state-of-the-art TV also delivers precise audio powered by AI sound technology for rich and lifelike sound. Samsung’s Active Voice Amplifier (AVA) Pro Function uses deep-learning technology to enhance dialogue and voices on screen, allowing users to follow conversations at any volume.
Samsung has introduced AI Customization Mode, AI Auto Game Mode, and AI Energy Mode, which intelligently save energy by analyzing user behavior and surrounding conditions. The TV dynamically adjusts its brightness based on changes in home lighting, enhancing depth and black expression for optimal viewing experience.
Samsung is introducing a range of TV lineups, including the Neo QLED 4K and OLED TVs, to cater to diverse lifestyles and preferences. The 2024 Neo QLED 4K is a state-of-the-art innovation with the NQ4 AI Gen2 Processor, delivering stunning 4K resolution with unparalleled clarity. It features Real Depth Enhancer Pro and Quantum Matrix Technology, ensuring exceptional contrast and setting a new standard in color accuracy. Available in sizes ranging from 55 to 98 inches, the Neo QLED 4K series caters to diverse viewing preferences. Samsung also introduces the Glare-Free OLED, which eliminates unnecessary reflection while preserving deep blacks and clear images under any lighting condition. OLED TVs with the Motion Xcelerator 144Hz feature offer fluid motion and rapid response times, making them ideal gaming companions. The S95D and S90D models, available in 65 to 77 inches, redefine the viewing environment for every household.
As for The Frame, it is now offering an elevated art experience with over 2,500 artworks from renowned museums and galleries. The 2024 edition reduces energy costs with ArtMode5, ensuring aesthetic enjoyment and energy efficiency.
Samsung Malaysia also launches Music Frame, a device that combines functionality and sophistication, offering a seamless harmony between users and their surroundings. The device can be standalone or mounted on a wall, allowing users to showcase personal features, photos, or artwork while immersing themselves in wireless audio. It supports up to five connections simultaneously and can be synchronised with two devices using Q-Symphony technology for immersive surround sound. The Music Frame delivers a powerful 2.0ch audio experience with Dolby Atmos support, providing depth, clarity, and details for movies, music streaming, or ambiance enjoyment. The Q-series Soundbar, which supports Dolby Atmos, synchronizes seamlessly with Samsung TVs, combining front, side, and up-firing speakers for heightened acoustic immersion.
On the software side for the latest Samsung TVs, the Tizen OS Home now offers personalized content ecosystem that delivers content recommendations tailored to each household member. The intuitive UI simplifies content discovery, while Samsung Knox Security safeguards sensitive data against unauthorized access or malware. Knox Vault, a dedicated security chip, ensures encrypted data transfer between connected devices. Samsung Tizen OS offers a one-stop destination for all, with over 2,500 live TV channels and on-demand content. The Samsung Daily+ integrates entertainment, health, and commerce in one TV hub. SmartThings enhancements create a more connected living room experience, allowing users to monitor and manage all smart Samsung devices and home appliances from their TV as the smart hub control centre.
