Paperless & Digitalization: Leading the “Go Green” Movement
At the heart of Samsung’s sustainability journey is the drive to reduce paper consumption through digital innovation. By introducing solutions like the e-queue service ticket, customers have been encouraged to adopt paperless processes, enhancing efficiency and reducing waste.
From 2022 to 2024, Samsung shifted approximately 359,907 transactions to paper-free alternatives, saving around 35 trees. This digital-first approach streamlines customer experiences and supports global environmental goals.
Eco Repair: Extend Product Life, Reduce E-Waste
As part of their ESG roadmap, Samsung introduced Eco Repair to extend the life cycle of electronic products, making repairs more affordable and sustainable. By opting for repair over replacement, customers help reduce e-waste and conserve resources.
From 2022 to 2024, Samsung repaired around 41,419 mobile devices and 18,417 TVs, preserving approximately 131,316 trees.
Eco Recycle Boxes: Promoting Responsible Disposal
Samsung has launched Eco Recycle Boxes at service centers across the country to facilitate proper e-waste management. These boxes offer customers a safe method to responsibly dispose of old devices, tablets, and accessories. By the end of 2024, the program has successfully collected 138.68 kg of e-waste, promoting recycling and preventing these materials from ending up in landfills.
A Shared Achievement for a Sustainable Future
