Samsung’s latest device, the Galaxy A27 5G, is confirmed for the Malaysian market as it brings immersive display, reliable performance and thoughtfully integrated AI features.
The device now gets Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection for better withstand the scratches and wear that come with everyday use. Galaxy A27 5G now uses a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The smartphone also gets an upgraded Infinity-O display, which minimizes the visible camera area through a discreet punch-hole design. On top of that, the device now comes with a reduced and more balanced bezel. Users also feel comfortable on hand for long period of usage, thanks to a slim 7.8 mm body.
Powering the device is the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 Mobile Platform, delivering more responsive throughout the day, especially switching between apps and busy multitasking. The chipset’s also has a boost GPU performance, allowing smoother graphics for gaming and streaming, while the latest high-speed memory enables faster data transfer speeds and improved power efficiency.
Galaxy A27 5G is packing a 12 MP front camera that captures a wider range of brightness and richer colors, where now you can get more natural-looking selfies in a variety of lighting conditions.
Following suit like its siblings, the device upgrades existing AI features for easier access to mobile intelligence. Circle to Search with Google now supports multi-object recognition, enabling users to search for multiple items in an image at once and virtually try on outfits directly from search results.
Object Eraser offers more precise edits for removing distractions, while Voice Transcription in the Voice Recorder app now translates quotes in 22 languages as it transcribes.
The Galaxy A27 5G enhances Awesome Intelligence with AI assistants like Google Gemini and Perplexity. It also integrates further with native apps like Gallery for intuitive interactions and supports Bixby for natural language control of settings.
Galaxy A27 5G will receive up to six generations of Android OS and One UI upgrades, along with six years of security updates from its global launch, ensuring long-term usability. With Samsung Knox and Knox Vault, it provides enhanced security for sensitive data, making device protection more intuitive.
