As Malaysia strengthens its digital economy, access to technology-enabled learning is crucial. Collaboration between public and private sectors, such as Samsung Malaysia and Yayasan Didik Negara (YDN), is essential in this endeavor.
On 25 July 2026, the two organizations formalized their strategic collaboration with a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance digital learning environments. The partnership aims to provide students and educators with the necessary skills and tools for success.
The MoU exchange at SMKA Sheikh Tahir Jalaluddin initiated wider efforts to support digital education. Samsung will provide Mobile Experience (MX) devices, displays, and interactive smartboards to improve digital learning infrastructure. As YDN’s official technology partner, Samsung will collaborate on educational programs, including smart classrooms and teacher upskilling initiatives, to promote future-ready skills among Malaysian students.

The collaboration aims to support students and schools in becoming better equipped for a digital world. This includes not just improving technology in schools, but also creating programs that promote creativity, innovation, and digital skills for students across Malaysia.
Some planned activities are Samsung AI Classroom showcases, STEM and AI learning experiences, interactive smartboard demonstrations, and programs that let students work directly with new technologies. Through Samsung for Education, this effort will help educators adopt technology effectively and create more engaging lessons for students.
By combining their knowledge of technology and education, Samsung Malaysia and Yayasan Didik Negara want to create more inclusive and future-ready learning spaces. Their partnership, along with Samsung for Education’s ongoing support, will help schools, teachers, and students develop strong digital skills, preparing Malaysia’s next generation to be more inclusive and digitally empowered.
