After the recent unveiling at Samsung UNPACKED 2020, the Samsung Galaxy S20 is now officially launched at Malaysia. Being one of the most exciting Android flagship smartphone in 2020, the S20 comes with 3 variant which Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G. Yoonsoo Kim, President of Samsung Malaysia Electronics (SME) have this to say during the launch: “With the new Samsung Galaxy S20, consumers will have a brand-new window to their world – giving them fresh experiences never seen before”.
Galaxy S20: All about the camera
Samsung took their pride when creating the Galaxy S20 to focus on one of the main aspect in modern smartphone: The camera. Except for the Ultra 5G variant, all models comes with Space Zoom feature which user will be able to zoom up to 30x. This made possible by using a combination of Hybrid Optic Zoom and Super Resolution Zoom which include an AI-powered digital zoom. The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G variant also uses AI-powered to help user experience a Super Resolution Zoom of up to 100x.
The S20 camera comes with a new feature called Single Take where user capture entire moment through picture and video in several modes simultaneously. Good for those who often love to post on social media.
If video is your thing, then there is a great news for you. The whole Galaxy S20 range is capable to record up to 8K videos. Good for those who are using Samsung’s 8K TV.

In the previous preview event for the Galaxy S20 series, Samsung Malaysia has announced the price for the three variants. The S20 (8GB + 128GB) goes for RM3,599 (Cosmic Gray, Cloud Blue, Cloud Pink), S20+ (8GB + 128GB) priced at RM3,999 (Cosmic Gray, Cloud Blue, Cosmic Black) while the S20 Ultra 5G (12GB + 128GB) is priced at RM4,999 (Cosmic Gray, Cosmic Black).
SME also announced the Galaxy S20 Consumer Roadshows from the 6th to 8th March 2020. Only 5 venue is available which is:

- Mid Valley Southkey, Johor Bahru, Johor
- East Coast Mall, Kuantan, Pahang
- IMAGO Shopping Mall, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah
Any Galaxy S20 models purchased during the roadshows, SME is rewarding the customer with a Wireless Charging Pad along with a 128GB microSD memory card worth a total of RM378. There is also 2 early bird reward where customer can received a Samsung 50″ 4K Smart UHD TV or by trading in any unused camera where SME is offering a RM400 instant rebate.
