Samsung has officially announced a new exclusive collection from the British Museum, featuring 30 artworks that will be available on compatible Samsung Art TVs. This collection includes pieces by famous artists like John Constable and Joseph Mallord William Turner.
The collection showcases Constable’s beautiful countryside scenes, known for his unique way of showing changes in the weather. Turner’s watercolors include both dramatic seascapes and picturesque views of cities like Venice, Rome, and Zurich.
“Samsung is committed to using our technology to make world-class art more accessible to everyone,” said Gwiho Lee, Executive Vice President of the Visual Display (VD) Business at Samsung Electronics. “By welcoming these iconic British Museum pieces into our platform, we are proud to offer our global audience an effortless way to appreciate historic art at home.”
Samsung Art Store subscribers can access the British Museum collection, browse selections, and easily change displayed works on their TV.
“We’re delighted to work with Samsung to make more of the Museum’s collection available to people at home,” said Lisa San Martin, Interim Commercial Director of the British Museum. “We hope it encourages viewers to explore works they already know and discover others for the first time.”
The launch is part of Samsung’s partnership with the British Museum. Samsung supports the museum’s “Korea” exhibition, which started on 1 October and will continue until 31 January 2027.
Starting 6 October, you can explore the British Museum collection on the Samsung Art Store.
