Samsung’s new 9100 PRO 8TB PCIe 5.0 NVMe SSD is now available in Malaysia, offering best-in-class sequential read and write speeds of up to 14,800 MB/s and 13,400 MB/s. The storage is perfect for AI workloads, professional content creators, and gamers alike.
With Samsung’s 8th-generation V-NAND and advanced Presto controller, the 9100 PRO 8TB achieves up to 2,200K IOPS random read and 2,600K IOPS random write speeds, doubling performance compared to the previous 990 PRO. This makes it ideal for AI PCs, content creation, and extreme gaming where speed is critical.
The 9100 PRO 8TB is up to 49% more power-efficient than its predecessor, thanks to Samsung’s 5nm controller and firmware optimisations. The slim 11.25mm heatsink version offers effective thermal management to prevent overheating and is compatible with PlayStation 5 consoles, providing flexible installation.
The 9100 PRO 8TB, like other models in the series, is supported by Samsung Magician software, providing data migration, drive health monitoring, secure data protection, and firmware updates for optimal performance.
Availability and Pricing
The Samsung 9100 PRO 8TB SSD will be available in Malaysia for RM4,269 with a heatsink and RM4,239 without it, through the Samsung Online Store, Lazada, Shopee, and authorized retailers.
