Recently, ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) Malaysia has unveiled the pricing and pre-order details for the new ROG Ally X handheld game console. The ROG Ally X is designed specifically for gaming on Windows 11 and comes equipped with an upgraded AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor, improved storage, RAM, and battery life. It also features a new chassis design for better ergonomics, cooling, and connectivity. Together with Armoury Crate SE 1.5, the ROG Ally X promises enhanced gaming performance and versatility.
The ROG Ally X boasts 1 TB of SSD storage, double the capacity of its predecessor, along with 24 GB of LPDDR5X-7500 RAM for increased flexibility in gaming. The device’s AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme APU shares video RAM with system RAM, enabling better performance with modern games that require more VRAM. Additionally, the ROG Ally X is equipped with an 80 Wh battery for prolonged gaming sessions away from a power source while maintaining a lightweight and comfortable feel for players.
In terms of controls and connectivity, the ROG Ally X features a redesigned chassis with improved ergonomics and comfort, as well as updated controls and sticks for a more durable and responsive gaming experience. The addition of two USB-C ports, one of which is Thunderbolt-compatible, offers wider compatibility with external devices.

The ROG Ally X is officially priced at RM 4,299 in Malaysia, with a pre-order promotion from July 17 to July 31, 2024. Pre-orders during this period will include a bundle worth RM 658, which consists of a Premium Hard Case, Gaming Charger Dock, and Screen Protector, while supplies last.
