Here I am to give my follow up review for the Aeson Power Sodium Ion Car Battery. I have already reached 500km mileage with the Aeson Power Sodium Ion Car Battery on my 2006 Perodua Myvi, and I am really impressed with what it can offer. But before I go deep down on it, let’s recap again what Aeson Power Sodium Ion Car Battery can offer to users:

For sure, the Aeson Power Sodium Ion Car Battery has deliver instantaneously engine starts from Day 1, whether in hot or cold days especially with Malaysia’s hot humid and sudden wet weather. There is a different how the car start when compared to my previous lead-acid battery. If you’re owning an old car like me, you will feel the stark difference and you really have to experienced it for yourself.
As for the claimed of the aircon becomes cooler, there is noticeable where the aircon blows cooler even when I set the aircond temperature slightly high. You will definitely feel the aircon can get the temp cooler quicker a bit as well. However, I do have to point out that for certain individual might not able to feel difference if their vehicle’s aircon are strong.
On to the next, I also noticed the car now drive becomes smoother, which is one of the benefits claimed by the brand. Even after I have just changed my engine oil and other maintenance just to avoid any placebo effect, I do feel my Myvi has better drive nowadays and I don’t really need to keep at high rev range.
However, for the fuel savings (which can be giving around ~5-10% improvement), I feel it’s a yes and no situation. Given the traffic in Klang Valley can be quite heavy during peak period, you might not get any fuel savings or perhaps just a slight improvement. At the moment, there are times when I drive my car with lesser traffic jam, I do noticed the fuel savings can reach around the ~5-10% improvement. Therefore, the fuel saving claims also depends on the traffic and driving behaviour as well. If you’re a heavy footer, you will only noticed some minor savings.
Final Verdict
Overall, the Aeson Power Sodium Ion Car Battery is truly a remarkable product and it lives up to most of the claimed benefits. However, for this review, I am only able to test the usage for the first 500km mileage and I can’t comment on its longevity claims, for now.
Don’t get me wrong when I say the pricing could be a little bit steep for some, however, with the given benefits and longevity you’re actually getting savings on other area, along with improved driving experience. It is also perfect for car owners that don’t want to invest on car battery that last only a year or less and have to keep remember to change their car battery every year.
