First time in the history, PUBG and PUBG MOBILE are partnering together for a historic year-end showdown with the 2025 PUBG UNITED, to host the PUBG GLOBAL CHAMPIONSHIP (PGC) and PUBG MOBILE GLOBAL CHAMPIONSHIP (PMGC) on a single global stage. The tournament is set to offer USD3,000,000 prize pool, making it the most electrifying finale in PUBG history.
Also, it was announced that INFINIX is the Official Gaming Phone Sponsor for PMGC 2025.
In a new format for this year’s PMGC, the competition begins with The Gauntlet, featuring 16 PMSL representatives from each region vying for the Top 7 spots in the finals. Teams that do not qualify will move to the Group Stage.
During the Group Stage, Gauntlet teams will be divided into two groups: GREEN (28-30 Nov, 2025) and RED (2-4 Dec, 2025), alongside the best teams from various countries. Only the Top 3 will advance to the Finals, while the Bottom 5 will be eliminated. Teams ranked in between will have a Last Chance, with only the Top 2 moving on.
From Southeast Asia, only eight teams qualified, including ALLIANCE (formerly CelcomDigi Alliance), which ranked #15 in 2023 but did not qualify for 2024. Will they perform better this time?
Southeast Asian teams are aiming to maintain their Top 5 track record, with D’XAVIER achieving Top 5 finishes at PMGC 2021 and 2023, and VOIN Esports doing so in 2024. All five past PMGC Final MVPs will also compete this year, making PMGC 2025 a showcase of top talent.
