PROTON has recently announced the expansion of S70 model range, with two new variants powered by its iGT 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine. Paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT), the new powertrain option enables the company’s award-winning C-segment sedan to occupy a price position estimated to be below RM60,000. Bookings can be made starting from 7 September 2026 at all authorised Proton dealers nationwide.
The new PROTON S70 range includes the Lite and Prime models, which focus on providing a smooth and quiet driving experience. They maintain the space, practicality, and driving traits that make the Proton S70 special.

The Lite and Prime variants provide more than just an entry point into the S70 family. Both models come with 10 standout features, emphasizing space, comfort, smart connectivity, and important safety features.
