Pasar Besties 2.0 has announced to take place at The School, Jaya One, Petaling Jaya, 18th October 2026 from 10am to 7pm, a community market that makes room for good food, creative experiences and conversations about mental wellbeing.

With its Camp Besties theme, the returning event (Year 2) offers local shopping, wellness sessions, and hands-on workshops with Camp TheraFriends, a friendly introduction to mental health awareness. The goal is to help visitors understand their emotions, identify stress triggers, and learn practical self-care methods they can use at home.
Visitors don’t have to have a mental health issue to join. Whether hanging out with friends, spending time with family, or exploring alone, the day provides chances to try new things, meet people, and prioritize personal wellbeing in daily life.

At Camp TheraFriends, visitors can take part in a free mental health check-in and enjoy six fun activity stations: HuggyPal Free Hugs, a personality test, sensory slime by Reveri.my, a DIY Emotional Support Pet, visual card reading, and a Give & Take a Message board.

The camp aims to promote awareness, reflection, and conversation. Its activities are for fun and are not a substitute for professional mental health care. The goal is to make it easier for participants to start conversations and explore what helps their everyday wellbeing.
The first 200 people who register will get a Camp Besties Activity Card with samples from Salonpas and Big Plus. Those who finish the card can win a lucky gift, based on the event program.
After the camp, visitors can join movement classes, creative workshops, and journaling activities. Highlights include Pound with Mis Claire, an oyster-shucking workshop by Oyster Bois, a Kerlip workshop, Clean with Curaprox, Therapeaucake’s Cake Canvas, and Taman Hati’s DIY mini terrarium.
Other activities include lantern decorating with Let’s Be Whimsy, Pastel Nagomi art with Aarthi, a leather journal cover DIY with Kelang Leather, and a press-on nail workshop with Blushing Nails. Kozie Krafts’ Journal Jam collaborations feature The Tea Depot, Personal Pieces, and Partner with Trees, while relaxation experiences include sessions with Move with Samantha, TANA, and Ology3. The programme also offers a free self-sampling HPV DNA test for eligible participants by Program ROSE, supported by Etiqa Cares.

*Wellness sessions and workshops require advance registration, with no walk-ins for these activities. Visitors should check @pasarbesties on Instagram for sign-up details and programme updates.
The goal is to make the experience last beyond just one day. The WHO’s guide, Doing What Matters in Times of Stress, says that you can practice simple stress-management techniques for a few minutes each day. Camp Besties also encourages visitors to prioritize daily self-care and seek extra support when needed.
