“The 2023 MotoGP season is offering a lot of exciting new challenges and opportunities. But what we are most looking forward to is that we get to visit new circuits in countries where the fans are as passionate about motorsports as we are. India is a very important market for Yamaha. It’s one of the countries with the highest two-wheeler use in the world.

We are delighted that the Grand Prix of India, to be held in September, will finally give us the opportunity to pay this country a visit and to develop a closer bond with India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd. (IYM). We are planning numerous joint activities before and during the Indian GP focused on connecting with the Indian fans.

In the meantime, it’s only fitting that IYM’s brand campaign logo is displayed on our YZR-M1s at the 2023 first Official MotoGP Test as well as at the Indian GP, to make the Indian fans feel involved in our 2023 MotoGP World Championship challenge.”
