Midea enters Malaysia Book of Records with simultaneous launch of FIRST 18 Midea Brand Stores Nationwide

Midea Malaysia has achieved a historic moment with the simultaneous launch of 18 Midea brand stores across the country, a first-of-its-kind national rollout recognised by the Malaysia Book of Records for “Most Electrical Appliance Outlets Launching In An Event.”

Midea is launching 15 new stores, 2 Pro-Shops, and 1 refreshed showroom in Kuala Lumpur, marking a major achievement. This event highlights Midea’s fast growth in Malaysia, increasing its retail presence from zero to 18 stores all at once.

Malaysia Book of Records Recognition for Nationwide Simultaneous Launch

Hosted across Malaysia, the event, recognized by the Malaysia Book of Records, featured a synchronized countdown where all 18 stores unveiled their signboards simultaneously. This reveal was broadcast live, highlighting Midea’s unifying retail network.

The event began with an introduction of all brand store owners, followed by a video on Midea’s new SMART MASTER series. Mark Tam delivered a keynote address, and plaque presentations were made for 17 stores outside Kuala Lumpur. The ceremony concluded with the official presentation of the Malaysia Book of Records certificate to celebrate this achievement.

Introducing SMART MASTER: AI-Driven Technologies Designed for Modern Living

As part of the launch, Midea introduced the SMART MASTER product series to the Malaysian market, allowing attendees to see how the brand is improving the connected home experience.

SMART MASTER includes smart technologies built into Midea’s appliances, which are designed to understand and respond to user needs using AI and smart sensors.
