Didi Group and Vespa officially removed the veil for their latest offering, the Vespa Sprint Tech, during the Malaysia Autoshow 2025, held at MAEPS.
The Vespa Sprint Tech embodies a modern spirit with a unique black, warm grey, and fluo-green color combination. The new lights on the leg shield back plate make the bike stand out when the rider clicks “Bike finder” or starts the bike.
Being one of the most advanced instrument panels on the market, the new 5-inch full-color dashboard offers day and night modes with expanded functions. With Vespa MIA and the Vespa App, riders can connect their vehicle and smartphone, gaining access to various functions while ensuring safety through intuitive notifications on the screen.
The new instrument panel shows all the important information: incoming and missed calls, message notifications, music controls, social media alerts, and GPS directions.
For the first time, navigation is included in the Sprint range, making it easier and more precise for riders. Once you set a destination in the Mia app, details like time, distance, current route, and alternative paths show up on the vehicle’s dashboard.
Users can also choose a new destination from recent ones and start or stop navigation directly from the dashboard.
The keyless system will be exclusive to the new Vespa Sprint Tech, allowing the rider to keep the key fob pocketed when unlocking, locking, and starting the vehicle. Dedicated buttons on the electronic key open the under seat and activate the Bike Finder function, ensuring the vehicle is recognizable even at a distance.
The Vespa Sprint Tech 150 cc selling price is RM22,900 and will be available at Vespa Authorised Nationwode dealers.
