
Malaysia Autoshow 2025 officially opened today, featuring over 200 exhibitors and more than 500 vehicles, including a record number of electric vehicles. This year’s event, organized by the Malaysia Automotive, Robotics and IoT Institute (MARii), covers 50,000 square meters and integrates the entire mobility value chain.
Officiated by YB Senator Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz, the launch highlighted the event as a strategic milestone for Malaysia’s sustainable mobility ambitions. He emphasized the importance of regional supply chain integration and alignment with the National Automotive Policy and New Industrial Master Plan 2030.
The show showcases over 70 new model launches, including cars and innovative mobility solutions, alongside a curated selection of connected vehicle technologies and the ASEAN Unity Drive 2025 event. Visitors can experience hands-on test drives with more than 100 vehicles across a 5.1-kilometer trail, recognized as the Largest Outdoor Obstacle Test Drive Zone at an Autoshow by ASEAN Records.

Highlights of Malaysia Autoshow 2025
Visitors can look forward to exploring over five kilometers of specially designed test tracks for cars, motorcycles, and 4×4 vehicles. More than 50 vehicle models will be available for test drives—free of charge.
o The car test track feature long and short corners, elevation changes, and new sections and areas tailored to evaluate ADAS systems, reverse cameras, and other modern vehicle technologies.
o The improved test ride track features a new section that allows riders to test the agility of the motorcycles available for testing, as well as long stretches of uphill and downhill straights to feel the performance of the motorcycle engines.
o The new 4×4 Experience layout allows visitors to try new offroad models, over 9 obstacles that include a steep hill descent, rock crawl, water wading and axle twister.
As the largest autoshow in Malaysia, the event spans across 50,000 square kilometers of multiple halls with dedicated zones for new vehicles, motorcycles, and automotive accessories. It also showcases award-winning models from the Malaysia Car of the Year awards.
The event offers something for every type of visitor—automotive enthusiasts, families, and curious newcomers alike—with a packed lineup of activities throughout the show:
o The Car Modified Showcase and Motorsport Showcase bring together standout builds and high-performance machines from across the country.
o Car & Bike Gatherings offer a chance for communities and owners to connect and exhibit their vehicles.

o A dedicated Women’s Day highlights the role and achievements of women in driving and motorsports.

o Konsert Rentak Elektrik, powered by BYD, brings an energetic soundtrack to the festivities.
