The 2025 BMW R 1300 GS Adventure elevates the legendary BMW GS Adventure with a complete redesign of the engine, chassis, bodywork, and storage concept. This motorcycle is reengineered for riders seeking long-distance adventures with a passenger and luggage. Whether tackling off-road terrain or embarking on long tours, the All-New BMW R 1300 GS Adventure offers enhanced expertise compared to its predecessor, ensuring an exceptional riding experience across any landscape.
The legendary twin-cylinder boxer engine powers the BMW R 1300 GS Adventure, featuring a compact design with a transmission beneath the engine. It produces 107 kW (145 hp) and 149 Nm of torque, marking it as the most powerful BMW boxer engine in series production.
Equipped with BMW ShiftCam technology, the engine offers optimal performance and fuel efficiency, complemented by a lightweight stainless steel 2-in-1 exhaust system. The model showcases strength with cross-spoked wheels and a 30-litre aluminium fuel tank for extended range.
The standard Dynamic Package includes Riding Modes Pro with modes for various conditions, and the Automated Shift Assistant (ASA) for effortless shifting. The headlamp consists of a single LED unit for both low and high beams, along with four additional LED units for the daytime running light and the side light. With the Headlight Pro as standard, the headlights dynamically adjust, ensuring better road safety, whether on winding roads or rugged trails. Complementing this are two extra-flat auxiliary headlamps with LED technology, seamlessly integrating into the bike’s bodywork. Meanwhile, newly designed LED turn indicators are integrated into the hand protectors at the front and function-integrated at the rear.Â

The Riding Assistant adds Active Cruise Control (ACC), Front Collision Warning (FCW), Lane Change Warning, and Rear End Collision Warning (RECW).
For connectivity, the motorcycle features a 6.5-inch full-colour TFT display that shows real-time data such as speed and fuel levels. A Sport screen option offers additional metrics like lean angle and traction. The BMW Motorrad Connected app integrates with the display for vehicle status and navigation, while the BMW Motorrad multi-controller allows simple access to key functions. Other standard features include RDC, heated grips, Keyless Ride, and a smartphone charging compartment with USB and 12V sockets.
