LG Electronics is partnering with Prime Video to celebrate the release of Masters of the Universe for streaming, bringing the excitement of Eternia into homes worldwide. This collaboration features Creator Original Picture Mode1, a unique picture setting for streaming available only on 2026 LG OLED evo TVs, along with an interactive Magic Remote voice feature inspired by the film’s famous catchphrase, “I have the power!”
In Masters of the Universe, director Travis Knight revives the franchise as a live-action adventure for a new generation. After 15 years apart, Prince Adam returns to a devastated Eternia under Skeletor’s control. To protect his family and world, he teams up with Teela and Duncan/Man-At-Arms and realizes his destiny as He-Man. LG’s new premium OLED lineup, in collaboration with Prime Video, enhances the film’s visuals and action for an immersive cinematic experience at home.
Exclusively available on the 2026 LG OLED evo W6, G6, and C6 series, Creator Original Picture Mode is a new setting that gives studios control over important picture quality aspects. Unlike Filmmaker Mode, which only turns off post-processing effects, this mode utilizes settings chosen by content creators and studios, such as shadow detail, color balance, noise reduction, and motion handling, to accurately display every sword fight, dark lair, and explosive battle on Eternia.
With LG’s advanced α (Alpha) 11 processor, LG OLED TVs offer 4K Gen 3 technology with 12-bit image processing and improved dynamic range control, preserving details and colors from the source to the screen. The self-lit pixel technology provides deep blacks and accurate contrast, while Dolby Vision enhances the picture quality and Dolby Atmos delivers immersive sound, bringing viewers into the action.
In a first-of-its-kind interactive feature, LG Magic Remote allows users to access Masters of the Universe content by saying, “I have the power.” Available on LG Smart TVs running webOS 23 and later, this voice command feature supports several languages, including English, French, Spanish, Italian, and German. The TV responds by retrieving the movie, bonus features, and related Prime Video content, transforming a legendary line into a gateway to adventure.
