May the 4th Be With You for this Star Wars Day as The LEGO Group is bringing a special LEGO Star Wars experience to Malaysia. It will take place at LG2 Orange Concourse in Sunway Pyramid from 29 April to 10 May 2026. This event celebrates the Star Wars universe and is planned to coincide with May The Fourth and the release of The Mandalorian & Grogu in theaters on 22 May 2026.
The event features a large installation inspired by Darth Vader’s stronghold and is meant for fans of all ages, including kids, parents, and collectors. It focuses on creativity, play, and the enduring strength of the Force.
Nina Patricia Da Costa, General Manager of Singapore, Malaysia and APAC Travel Retail, The LEGO Group said, “May The Fourth has always been a moment of joy and community for Star Wars fans worldwide. This year, we wanted to do something truly extraordinary with exclusive LEGO Star Wars collectibles and a fan experience that is filled with imagination and captures the full spirit of a galaxy far, far away. From the moment guests step beneath the shadow of Vader’s fortress to the moment they collect their exclusive postcard, every touchpoint is designed to make them feel that the Force is very much with them.”
Enter the Empire: An Immersive Fan Installation
At the center of the experience is a fortress-like installation inspired by Darth Vader’s stronghold, featuring a tall castle that dominates the area. Visitors will see an 8′ x 8′ Death Star hologram made entirely from LEGO bricks, which is the most impressive visual of the event.
Next, guests will enter the Timelapse Tunnel, a walkway under the Darth Vader castle that takes them through hyperspace, showcasing a collection of LEGO Star Wars sets. This includes classic models like the 10018 Darth Maul bust and the new 75442 The Mandalorian’s N-1 Starfighter, celebrating 27 years of LEGO Star Wars history.
The space features 3D LEGO character models such as C-3PO, Darth Vader, Stormtrooper, Kylo Ren, the Mando & Grogu duo, Chewbacca, Rey, and Yoda. There are also Disney models of BB-8, R2-D2, Chewbacca, and a Death Trooper. Fans have created dioramas of battle scenes, adding a creative touch, and there’s a contest happening on-site. Lastly, visitors can take pictures with a Star Wars Throne Chair surrounded by Sith Troopers.
Join the Playful Side: Activities for All Fans
The LEGO May The Fourth pop-up event is full of fun activities for fans to enjoy. Those who finish all three booth activities will get one of three special Malaysia-themed LEGO Star Wars postcards, free while supplies last. This is a great keepsake for the biggest fan celebration in Malaysia.
Kids 12 and under can also join in the Make & Take session to build a small LEGO Landspeeder.
In the days leading up to May The Fourth, Star Wars cosplayers and mascots will be at Sunway Pyramid on selected dates. If you see a Jedi there between May 2-3 and May 9-10, and say “May the 4th be with you,” you could win a pair of movie tickets to The Mandalorian & Grogu.
Additionally, mascots and cosplayers will appear at TGV Cinema in Sunway Pyramid on May 2nd and 3rd, bringing the Star Wars excitement just before the movie’s release on May 22, 2026.
The New LEGO Star Wars 2026 Line-Up
The 2026 LEGO Star Wars collection features sets led by Mando, bringing together Grogu and fans of all ages to celebrate May The Fourth and the upcoming release of The Mandalorian & Grogu.
